The Class of 2027 is a special one. This is a group of phenomenal young men who have taken on the mission of "Leaving it better than you found it." They are leaders in our football program, leaders in our school building, and future leaders in our community. The Class of 2027 has never been shy of hard work, they love to compete with each other, and are a joy to be around. Thank you for joining us in celebrating this wonderful group of young men!

When the NFHS allowed the number 0 to be worn in high school football, many kids around the country desired this new number. It created a buzz and a spotlight that was unique. At John Marshall, we wanted to create a buzz and a spotlight in our own unique way, so we created the Agent 0 award. This coach-selected award goes to an athlete in our program that demonstrates great selflessness, humility, and teamwork. We want the number 0 to represent the qualities that go into being a phenomenal teammate in such a pride-driven sport. Past athletes to have worn the number 0 for the Rockets have been weight room warriors, community service leaders, and guys that put it all on the line for their teammates on Friday nights. This year's Agent 0 meets all of those descriptors, Timmy Mai! The senior was found investing his time in the weight room morning and night, teaching his younger teammates and pushing his peers to be the best versions of themselves. Timmy is a student leader, making an impact in the classrooms and hallways at JM, and always willing to serve the community of Rochester. Congrats on earning the number 0 this year Timmy!

Each year the captains in the JM Football program are nominated by their teammates. At the beginning of the off-season, all members are eligible to be voted on. Once votes are collected, the highest 3-4 vote earners are awarded the leadership roles, and then the work begins. This year's representatives are Ben Howard, Aiden Prosch, Akit'J Williams, and Carter Blanchette. They have demonstrated incredible resilience, tenacity, and high character in their efforts to lead their teammates through the off-season and into the regular season. We are excited to watch them make an impact on Friday nights through their play and their leadership!

Brandon Tasson (#19) Started playing football in his sophomore year. His favorite memory is when the Varsity team beat Century in 2025. The football team has become a family to Brandon. He enjoys spending time with them and being part of the team.

Ben Howard (#27) Started playing in the 2nd grade. He has learned through football to take every opportunity that he is given and do it to the best of his ability. His favorite memory is playing against Century his junior year and having the whole student section cheer the team on!

Drew Kosloski (#12) Started playing football in 10th grade. His favorite football memory was the Senior Trip to Whitewater State Park. Drew credits football with giving him a good work ethic, taught him to be more of a man and provided him with life-long friends who he hopes to never lose contact with.

Akit’J Williams (#11) doesn’t remember a time when he wasn’t playing football, even if it was only with his father. His favorite football memory was his first Varsity touchdown against Apple Valley. Akit’J has met some of his very best friends playing the sport he loves.

Ike Tiede (#45) started playing football his 11th grade year. His favorite football memories are throwing the football in his backyard with his brother and dad. Ike credits football with helping him make friends and build strong relationships with the people he cares about.

John Rybarczyk (#71) started playing football during his 7th grade year after a friend convinced him to. In all honesty he just wanted to wear the jersey around the school. His favorite football memory was the JM vs. Century game that took place in the pouring rain. JM was victorious in what became known as the Mud Bowl. The whole team celebrated by running and diving onto the mud-covered field. John credits football with teaching him discipline, hard work, how to be a leader, thrive in a stressful environment, and allowed him to be a part of something bigger than himself.

Ethan Cole (#59) started playing football in his junior year of high school. Football has taught Ethan about brotherhood, and that family more than blood. His favorite memory is beating Apple Valley JV his junior year and riding home on the bus afterwards.

De’ Marreus Wells (#1) believes that football has taught him to keep going even when things get tough. He began playing football his 7th grade year and will always remember his first pass defense on Varsity.

Chace Larson (#4) started playing football his freshman year. His favorite football memory was his sophomore year when they beat Apple Valley’s JV. Football has taught Chace to make the most of the time he has and to be intentional with everything he does.

Tyeron Sandy (#6) started playing football in his freshman year. Football has helped Tyeron build bonds with his teammates, and have a good relationship with his coaches. His favorite football memory is beating Century last season.

Joesph McCarty (#8) started playing football in the 8th grade. His favorite football memory was from his 10th grade year when JM beat Century 41-0. Through football Joseph has learned that if you control what you can control, you can’t beat yourself up about the outcome, because you already did everything you could.

Aiden Prosch (#74) loves that football has provided him with a group of friends that he can always have fun with. His favorite memory was playing D line his first year, and the O lineman saying that Joseph was going to blitz and Joseph responded by say “nuh uh!”. Aiden started playing football in the 10th grade.

Football means everything to Sammy Abduallahi (#18). He loves to go out on Friday night lights and represent the Rockets! Sammy started playing football his sophomore year of high school, and his favorite memory was getting a sack against Northfield.

Carter Blanchette (#58) started playing football in 7th grade. His favorite football memory was getting his first Varsity start against Apple Valley and pancaking a D1 commit. Football has taught Carter to be more disciplined. It has given him the motivation to do difficult things and persevere without a second thought.

Angel Felix (#10) started playing football in the 6th grade. Football has positively impacted his life by instilling him with discipline and accountability. His favorite football memory is the 2025 game vs Century. He loved that game because it was their first win of the season, and it was the first time he played offense and defense on Varsity.

This is great time after the game to unwind, eat, drink, talk about the game and connect with other fans.
See You There!
Players from Century and JM are teaming up at Chip Shots to celebrate and recognize the special people they are honoring in the upcoming Tackle Cancer game.

One of the fundamental principles guiding the JM Football program is the commitment to "leave it better than you found it." Our goal is to instill this mindset in every player, encouraging them to take responsibility for their surroundings and to always strive for improvement, whether in their athletic pursuits or in their daily lives

Our mission is simple, to positively impact the lives of young people.
We do this by developing leadership, resilience, selflessness, and discipline through the sport of football.
These lessons are learned from avenues including practices, games, work outs, service opportunities, volunteering, and prioritizing our academic responsibilities!

Control what you can control
- This starts with attitude and ends with effort.
Positivity is contagious
- Create it, share it, receive it.
Love = Sacrifice
- Love is verb, we show it through sacrificing time, effort, and attention.
Failing is for growing
- Learn from loss, pursue opportunity.

Be the standard, all of the time.
- The standard starts with being on time and intentional.
Leave it better than you found it.
- We believe in leaving locker rooms, fields, classrooms, conversations, and relationships better than we found them.
Win the day before the week.
- Be present minded, planted where your feet are.
Own it, all of it.

From our family to yours, thank you. We have been blessed to be a part of this football program for the last 5 years and have gotten to know so many wonderful families along the way. Our vision was always to help turn JM Football into a true community. As our own children have grown up as a part of this community, we have been blown away with all of the love and support that goes into this thing. From team meals, to equipment donation drives, to community service events like Adopt-A-Highway, there is never a shortage of people willing to lend a helping hand. A community's culture is within the people, and our people are awesome. This has accelerated the culture of our football program into a people-first, transformational program committed to positively impacting the lives of young people! As you take in a game on Friday nights this year, we hope you see some great football being played, but more importantly that you notice the deep-rooted familyhood in our stadium and feel the passion of our community! GO ROCKETS

Drop us a line to cheer us on! Got an idea for an event? Well, send that to us too. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
We look forward to seeing you at our next game!
